Secrets

Mr.Rochester begins to become even more mysterious... First, he has many secret. First, his bedroom gets lit on fire by (the suspected) Grace Poole. Weirdly, even though he knows it was Grace Poole, Jane was asked not to tell  and Grace Poole was never accused. There is also something else that seems odd, it seems like the other servants in the house are keeping a secret from Jane that is about Grace.

After that incident, Mr.Rochester traveled for a couple of days and came back with friends. Mrs.Fairfax tells Jane that they will probably be there for a couple of weeks. Adele is very excited with the new company, but as for Jane she is a little sad. The company is taking the attention of Mr.Rochester  away from her. The ladies of the company wanted to see a fortune-teller. After Jane was requested to be seen by the fortune-teller, the fortune-tellers identity was reveled. It turned out to be Mr.Rochester. I didn't quite understand why....

Another weird thing happens after this. Mason, a guest who had come to see Mr,Rochester, had been severely wounded by Grace Poole. Mr.Rochester calls Jane for help but tells her not to speak and just do a told. Mr.Rochester is a very suspicious guy.

*Unfortunately not done with the book yet. Therefore I will continue to post until I'm done, which will hopefully be before exams*

The beginnings of Mr.Rochester

This book is so incredibly detailed!!!!

On the other hand, Jane is enjoying her new life at Thornfield even though nothing much happens there. A new character appears that makes life at Thornfield a little bit more exciting. Mr.Rochester is first introduced when Jane finds him with a sprained ankle on the side of the road because his horse had slipped on some ice. When Jane went to help him he asked where she was headed and where she came from, he did not mention that he was Mr.Rochester. Which gives his character a little sense of mysteriousness.

Jane admits that she likes it better when Mr.Rochester is there, because the house seems a little bit more alive. Even though Mr.Rochester doesn't seem like a warm and loving man (at least so far) Adele is very excited with his arrival. Mr. Rochester's mysteriousness is very intriguing...... He seems a bit off, like he is hiding something. The next chapters will reveal Mr. Rochester's true intentions...

Also I just noticed that in the last entry I called Mr.Rochester Mr. Thornfield..... Oops!
